The Awkward Yet Amusing Run In

I was heading to Lenny's on 34th/7th for eats when I walked past someone who looked very familiar. We stared at each other while slowly walking past one another. So I said...

You look familiar...

He smiled. "Yea..."

Then it clicked. He (now) looked like a bootleg Khalil Kain/Raheim from Juice. He was Mr. Can't Get It Up. I refused to act like I knew where I knew him from.

"Where do I know you from?" I asked.

He stated the show we'd worked on.

"Oooh that's riiiiight!"

He looked exhausted and said he'd just gotten off of a bus. I figured that from the big ass rolling bag he had with him.
We'd stopped about 6 feet away from each other and I wasn't sure what else to say other than "Well you should get home to get some rest."

I waved goodbye and went on my way.

I find it most amusing that I can't keep track of my "bodies" sometimes. The even funnier thing to me is that I was actually on the phone when I first saw him with someone who knew exactly who he was and exactly what had happened between us. Comedy.org.

He'd gained a few pounds and even seemed like he may have had a growth spurt because he was taller than I remembered. After recollecting the entire experience I sincerely hoped his equipment was in working order. Who knows? Maybe it was me that night...maybe not.
